Baked Apples Stuffed with Granola

This lil dessert over here is the apple of my eye šŸ˜ so sweet and satisfying! I loveeee going all out with fall recipes but also donā€™t always have the time to bake extravagant things so this is the perfect festive & fast dessert (or breakfast tbh šŸ˜‰) to make!

What are your go-to fall sweet treats!?

<< serves 4>>

Ingredients

  • 2 apples

  • 2/3 cup granola (I used TJ's Caramel Apple Granola)

  • 2 tbsp maple agave syrup (or maple syrup)

  • 1 tbsp cookie butter

  • 4 heaping tbsp of Greek Yogurt (or ice cream if for dessert)

  • More maple agave syrup to serve

Process

  1. Preheat the oven to 375Āŗ

  2. Cut each apple in half and scoop out the inside so that there is just a 1/4th inch border.

  3. In a mixing bowl, pour in the granola, maple agave syrup, and cookie butter and mix together. Use this mixture as the filling for the apples.

  4. Butter an oven-safe pan and place the apples with granola inside. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Take the aluminum foil off after 25 minutes, and let bake for another 20-25 minutes, until the apple is soft.

  6. Serve with greek yogurt and more maple agave syrup!
