These candy cane bacon-wrapped cheesy sticks are a great appetizer for Christmas! They're so cute and easy to serve.
You can even make it an arts and crafts activity with your kids, or turn it into a fun date. This is definitely a recipe that's more fun to do with friends than alone, and it really gets you into the Christmas spirit!

Ingredients
8 oz Pizza Dough
5 mozzarella sticks
2 bacon strips
Process
Preheat the oven to 425ºF
Take your pizza dough and roll it out until it's very thin - around 1/4 inch.
Use a whole mozzarella stick as the base of your candy cane, and chop another into small slices so that you can mimic the curve of the candy cane on top, as shown in the picture on the right.
Cover the mozzarella stick completely, by wrapping the dough around it.
Slice your bacon strip down vertically, making two long thin strips. Use one strip per candy cane, and wrap it in diagonal loops (like a candy cane), pinching it at the top and bottom to stick
Bake for around 15 minutes, or until the bacon is done and the dough is golden.
Serve with marinara sauce or pesto to dip
