Cookie Butter French Toast

These were so good! I wasn't sure if it'd be too sweet with brioche and cookie butter, but it was a great combo and I'd wholeheartedly recommend doing this next time you're craving french toast. Super easy to make, and is a definite crowd-pleaser.

Serves: 2

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 slices brioche

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ Tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • dash cinnamon

  • maple syrup to serve

Process

  1. Cut your brioche slices vertically into 3 french toast sticks, each.

  2. Spread cookie butter onto one side of a french toast stick, then sandwich it together with another stick.

  3. Make the egg dip: Whisk two eggs together until smooth. Add milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Whisk together.

  4. Add the french toast sticks (sandwiched with cookie butter) into the bowl with eggs. Let it soak for roughly 2 min on each side.

  5. On a buttered pan over medium-low heat, add your french toast sticks. Cook until browned on both sides (roughly 2-3 minutes).

  6. Serve with maple syrup!
