Avocado season is my favorite time of the year! But also, sometimes I'll buy them in bulk and then realize they've all ripened at the same time, and I can't get through them quickly enough. So now, I make bulk quantities of guacamole, and then just freeze it in small Tupperwares and defrost one whenever I need more. This way, I have "fresh" guacamole year-round.
Ingredients for your follicular phase: avocado, parsley, lime. During the follicular phase, your metabolism naturally slows down, so you want to eat foods that aid liver detoxification to ensure estrogen buildup doesn't occur in the gut.
Limes, and citrus more generally, are high in vitamin C and antioxidants which reduce inflammation in the body. But most importantly, they are effective at liver detoxification, and vitamin C helps with iron absorption.
Parsley contains high levels of vitamin K which is great for bone health and is also rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which alleviate inflammation in the body.
Avocado is a great source of healthy fats, with high levels of Omega-3s, which are shown to reduce FSH levels and are anti-inflammatory. They are also associated with increased progesterone levels, promote ovulation, and optimize hormone levels. They are also very high in fiber, which helps our bodies flush out excess estrogen.
Guacamole

Ingredients
4 avocados, ripe
½ cup red onion, diced
½ cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 limes juiced
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Process
In a large bowl, mash the avocados to the chunkiness level of preference. Then slowly mix in the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.
