Moroccan Chicken with Couscous

This Moroccan chicken recipe is morROCKIN! And pairing it with cous cous Israeli good 😎🤪


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts

  • 1 white onion

  • 1 package of Trader Joe's couscous

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Chermoula Sauce

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tbsp garlic

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 lemon juice and zest

  • 3 tbsp cilantro

  • 3 tbsp olive oil


Process

  1. Chop your garlic and cilantro

  2. Add cumin, garlic, salt, paprika, lemon, cilantro, and olive oil to a bowl and mix

  3. Marinate the chicken in your chermoula sauce for at least 30 mins

  4. Bring a pan up to med-high heat

  5. Chop your onion

  6. Add the chicken, left over marinate, and onion to your pan

  7. Cook until 165 F (about 5-7 mins each side)

  8. Pour couscous into a sauce pan with 1 tbsp olive oil

  9. Cook on medium heat until slightly browned

  10. Add boiling water and cover

  11. Cook for 12 minutes or until the water is gone

  12. Enjoy!
