My favorite fusion: Indian food and Pizza! Use your favorite pizza dough, make the sauce, add the cheese and voila!
Ingredients
1 white onion
2 tsp ginger
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic
1 cup cauliflower
2 zucchinis
1 can tomato sauce
2 tbsp turmeric
2 tbsp garam masala
2 tbsp cumin,
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 a lemon
3/4 cup greek yogurt
3 tbsp of flour to thicken
TJ's premade pizza dough - or your favorite at home pizza dough
As much mozzarella as you like (and/or any other cheese that makes you happy)
Process
Preheat oven to 425°F
Roll out pizza dough
Sauté 1 white onion for 5 minutes on medium/high heat. Add 2 tsp ginger, olive oil, and garlic
Add 1 cup cauliflower and 2 zucchinis on medium heat for 3 more minutes
Add 1 can tomato sauce, 2 tbsp turmeric, 2 tbsp garam masala, 2 tbsp cumin, 2 tbsp cinnamon, 1 tsp cloves, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, squeeze in half a lemon, 3/4 cup greek yogurt, and 3 tbsp of flour to thicken. Let simmer for 7 minutes
Add on top of dough
Sprinkle mozzarella on top (as much as you’d like 😋)
Bake in the oven for 14 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown
Eat!!!
