Tropical Yogurt Bowl

Yogurt bowls are the ultimate healthy girl cheat code. Greek yogurt is great for both gut health and muscle building, which are two vital parts of overall health & longevity as well as hormone health. Plus, it's easy to mix it up so you won't get bored with it. During the ovulatory phase, I prefer adding lots of fruits and keeping it light, while during the luteal phase, I might opt to add it as a topping to cooked apples to make it cozy.


The ingredients in this recipe that is beneficial for your ovulatory phase are coconut and raspberries, but Greek yogurt is wonderful as well due to its high protein content. During the ovulatory phase, estrogen and testosterone surge, so you want to eat foods that help your body balance out the spike in estrogen and support the heart.

Raspberries are high in fiber, and are anti-inflammatory which are two important things to incorporate into the ovulatory phase. Help your body flush out excess estrogen by reducing inflammation, allowing your organs to work effectively, and feeding your gut microbiome so that it can efficiently eliminate waste!


Coconut is great for ovulation because it contains essential nutrients such as B vitamins, zinc, and phosphorus which are vital nutrients for healthy ovulation.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 passion fruit

  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts

  • 2 tbsp raspberries

  • granola of choice

  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes

  • honey drizzle


Process

  1. Add yogurt as the base, and top with the recommended additions!
